I have shown you the Path.
Effort you must apply yourselves;
The Tathāgatas can but point the way.

Akkhāto vo mayā maggo
aññāya sallasatthanaṁ
Tumhehi kiccaṁ ātappaṁ
akkhātāro tathāgatā.
